Day 91...Rest...Errr...Core Synergistics...ROUND 6

Bringing it bringing it BRING-ING IT!

Concluding P90X with an intense workout was nice. Instead of the last day of the week being a rest day where I would not do anything but pat myself on the back for a job well done, I blasted myself with some Core Synergistics!

Of course if I was not sick last Tuesday I would be doing basically nothing on this day, but such is fate that I woke up Sunday morning with an hour of abuse ahead of me.

I'm glad it worked out this way. Had a good workout...finished the program with a bang...and i still have time to rest and recover.

It's a beautiful thing. Thanks for a fun 3 months Tony! See you tomorrow...

Day 90...YogaX...ROUND 16

Guru status is nothing to sneeze at. It takes a lifetime of training and focus and dedication. Discipline and deprivation.

I have accomplished this in abut 3 months.

Day 89...Core Synergistics...ROUND 5

It was a bruiser today!

This is the intense workout only rolled out during the misnamed rest and recovery week.

I consider myself fully recovered for the most part from that cold I dealt with this week and attacked core syn with all I had.

I did 11 prison cell push-ups, incorporated weights on the crescent lunges, and did the leg lifts in lateral skaters. All improvements over the past.

I still have one more core syn to go since I had to bank Tuesday's due to illness.

Day 88...StretchX...ROUND 3

Ahhhhh....the rare but lovely stretch routine! What a great treat for the body.

A nice mellow hour of stretching and breathing is something everyone should really do for themselves once and again.

We are days away from completion...that's pretty exciting!

Day 87...KenpoX...ROUND 13

After a few days of being sick, I woke this morning definitely in better shape. After a shower and good breakfast I was on my way to a full recovery.

Other than being a little congested and a lingering cough, I felt near normal. Not full strength but excited that I was on the mend in a major way.

So after a day on the road I slipped into an awesome round of Kenpo. Maybe the best round yet which is appropriate as it is the last round of this routine.

Tomorrow is a stretch day which will allow my body to recover even more before heading into the last three days (core syn, yoga, core syn).

Day 86...Rest...ROUND 13

Yup...out of order. But I am sick as a dog and have no chance of completing the normally scheduled program Core Synergistics. So Sunday and today get switched.

Instead of ending P90X with a rest day I will end it with an intense workout.

That's cool with me.

Day 85...YogaX...ROUND 15

Sick today but pushed through this yoga routine anyway. Was hoping some slow moving and stretching would help move this illness through my system quicker.

Definitely was uncomfortable and had to work harder to get through it. I did feel better afterwards though but that was short lived.

Glad I did the workout none the less. I am almost done with a perfect P90X round so I can't let this illness sideline me.
